The Wednesday Tour Challenge started in 2009 when charter members Rodney Biggerstaff, Allen Melton and Stevie Guffey decided to meet every Wednesday morning and play golf. Then to make it more of a competition, they decided to play for a used golf ball each week, used as a trophy and bragging rights. That is how it got started. The TOUR tees off at 8:45 every Wednesday, June through September. We play the ball down (or "Golf", as Allen says) by USGA and local rules. "It is a 2 stroke penalty even if you ask for relief" as quoted by Allen. We invite you to play with us anytime you can play.
